Kaiser Permanente
Sidney Garfield Center for Health Care Innovation
San Leandro

This innovation center was built out of a 30,000 square foot warehouse as a representation of a Kaiser In-Patient mock-up hospital. The facility is used for training, education, research and implementation purposes and includes a fully mocked up Medical Prep Room, OR Room, Emergency Treatment Room, Labor & Delivery Room, Special Needs Patient Room, Nursing Stations, Vendor Staging Areas, along with conferencing and training facilities. This space focuses on design, safety and operational testing and will serve as a template for future Kaiser build-outs.
